Our story
We started Triangle Ecommerce because we kept meeting talented ecommerce professionals in the area who didn't know each other existed. The Triangle deserves better.Who we are
Triangle Ecommerce is a local community for ecommerce professionals in North Carolina's Research Triangle. We connect brand operators, agency leaders, platform builders, and anyone else who makes their living in online commerce.
Why we exist
The Triangle is home to a growing ecommerce ecosystem, but there hasn't been a dedicated space for the people in it to connect. No meetup. No happy hour. No community. We're changing that.
What to expect
Real conversations. No vendor pitches or sponsored panels. Just ecommerce people getting together to share what they know, help each other out, and build a stronger local network.
Founders
The people behind it
James LuterekVP of Engineering, Aries Solutions
James brings twenty years of ecommerce and engineering experience, having advised startups through Fortune 100 companies on commerce implementations. Based in Cary, he wanted to build the local ecommerce network he wished had existed when he moved to the Triangle.
Eric ParisSenior Enterprise Account Executive, commercetools
Eric has spent over a decade helping B2C and B2B organizations modernize their commerce technology. Based in Durham, he's seen firsthand how many talented ecommerce professionals are in the Triangle, and how few ways there are for them to connect.
